Why This Recipe Is So Tasty
Chef's Cooking Tips
- Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.
- Cook on medium heat to ensure the chicken cooks evenly without burning the outside.
Step 1
Place a chicken fillet between two sheets of cling film and gently pound it with a meat mallet or rolling pin until it’s evenly flattened.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix together chili powder, cumin, coriander, chili flakes, salt, pepper, ginger powder, and garlic powder to make the spice blend.
Step 3
Rub the spice mix all over the flattened chicken, then carefully roll it up into a tight spiral. Repeat with the remaining fillets.
Step 4
Coat each chicken roll in flour, then dip it into beaten eggs, and finally roll it in breadcrumbs to cover completely.
Step 5
Heat some oil in a pan over medium-low heat and fry the rolls until they’re golden brown and cooked through, turning gently as needed.
Step 6
Let them cool for a few minutes, then slice the rolls into spirals and serve.
