Why This Recipe Stands Out
Quick Kitchen Tips
- Cook the chicken evenly by pounding it to an even thickness before frying.
- Let the chicken rest a few minutes after cooking to keep it juicy and tender.
Step 1
In a bowl, combine the chicken with ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix everything well and let it rest for at least 15 minutes.
Step 2
In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour with cumin seeds, oregano, salt, pepper, chili flakes, and chopped coriander. Add a little water and stir until you get a smooth batter.
Step 3
Dip each piece of chicken into the batter, making sure it's nicely coated, and set them aside.
Step 4
Heat some oil in a pan over medium-low heat and fry the chicken pieces until they’re golden brown. Once cooked, remove them from the pan and set aside.
Step 5
In a separate pan, heat ½ cup of oil. Add some flour and cook it for about a minute, then slowly pour in the milk while stirring continuously. Keep cooking until the sauce thickens. Season it with salt, pepper, and chili flakes.
Step 6
Stir in the ketchup, then add the mozzarella cheese. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.
Step 7
Arrange the fried chicken on a serving plate, pour the cheesy sauce over the top, and garnish with fresh coriander leaves. Enjoy!
