Why This Dish Is Amazing
Helpful Chef Tips
- Season the chicken well before cooking to enhance flavor.
- Cook fries and chicken separately to keep both crispy and juicy.
Step 1
Cut the potatoes into fries. Heat some oil in a large pot and fry the potatoes until they’re golden and crispy. Once done, drain them on paper towels and set aside.
Step 2
In a pan, heat a little oil and add the chicken. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Sprinkle in the chili flakes, salt, pepper, chili powder, and cumin seeds. Give everything a good mix.
Step 4
Pour in a splash of water, cover the pan, and let the chicken cook for another 2 minutes until it’s tender and cooked through. Then turn off the heat.
Step 5
To make the sauce, combine red chili sauce, mustard paste, peri peri sauce, tomato ketchup, mayonnaise, oregano, and paprika in a bowl. Stir it all together until smooth.
Step 6
In a serving bowl, layer the fries, then the chicken, and drizzle with the sauce. Top with chopped spring onions for a fresh touch. Serve while it’s hot and enjoy!
