Why This Recipe Is So Enjoyable
Helpful Tips For Cooking
- Use a wire rack when baking to allow even heat circulation.
- Adjust the amount of hot sauce to match your preferred spice level.
Step 1
In a big bowl, toss the chicken wings with chili flakes, cumin, chili powder, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, chili sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix everything well so the wings are nicely coated. Cover the bowl and let the wings marinate for at least 30 minutes, or even overnight if you have the time for extra flavor.
Step 2
Pour some all-purpose flour into another bowl. Take each wing and coat it in the flour, then dip it quickly into cold water. After that, roll it in the flour again to get a nice, crispy crust. Shake off any extra flour before frying.
Step 3
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat. Fry the wings in batches until they’re golden and crispy all over. When they’re done, drain them on paper towels to get rid of any excess oil.
Step 4
Serve the wings hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
