Tips For Best Results
- Use freshly ground black pepper for the best aroma and taste.
- Cook on medium-high heat to get a nice sear without drying out the chicken.
Step 1
Cut one chicken breast into strips. In a bowl, combine the chicken with soy sauce, vinegar, cornflour, salt, and pepper. Give it a good mix to coat everything evenly.
Step 2
Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the chicken strips until they turn golden brown and are cooked through. Once done, take them out and set aside.
Step 3
In the same pan, add sliced onions and red and green capsicum. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper, then cook for about 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
Step 4
Pour in soy sauce, vinegar, and ketchup. Stir everything together and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes so the flavors come together.
Step 5
Add the cooked chicken back into the pan and toss everything to coat the chicken well. Turn off the heat.
Step 6
Sprinkle chopped spring onions on top for a fresh finish. Serve with rice and enjoy!
