Why This Dish Is So Special
Tips For Better Flavor
- Preheat the grill well to get crispy skin without drying out the meat.
- Turn the wings frequently to cook them evenly and prevent burning.
Step 1
In a bowl, toss the chicken wings with pepper, salt, chili flakes, egg, and cornflour. Let them marinate for about 30 minutes.
Step 2
Heat some oil in a pan and fry the wings until they’re crispy and golden brown. Once done, set them aside.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, chili sauce, BBQ sauce, oregano, Kashmiri chili powder, and a little water.
Step 4
Heat a bit of oil in a pan, sauté the chopped garlic for about a minute, then pour in the sauce mixture along with ¼ cup of water. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Stir together 1 tablespoon of cornflour with ¼ cup of water until smooth, then add this to the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until it thickens.
Step 6
Add the fried wings to the sauce and toss everything well to coat. Finish by sprinkling chopped spring onions and white sesame seeds on top, then give it one last mix.
