Why This Recipe Works
Tips For Perfect Results
- Use high heat when grilling to get nice char marks and seal in juices.
- Warm the bread slightly before assembling to keep it soft and fresh.
Step 1
Heat some oil in a pan, then add the chicken and cook for about 3-4 minutes. Toss in the chopped garlic and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 2
Add the capsicum, onion, tomato, soy sauce, chili sauce, and tomato paste. Sprinkle in the salt, chili powder, coriander powder, chili flakes, cumin seeds, and oregano. Stir everything together well.
Step 3
Mix in the mozzarella cheese until it melts a bit, then turn off the heat and set the filling aside.
Step 4
Take a slice of bread and spread butter on one side and mayonnaise on the other. Pile the chicken and cheese mixture onto the mayo side.
Step 5
Grab another slice of bread, spread butter on one side and mayonnaise on the other, then place it on top with the buttered side facing up.
Step 6
Heat a grill pan and toast the sandwich for 2-3 minutes on each side until it’s golden and crispy.
Step 7
Serve it warm and enjoy!
