Seasoned Potatoes with Twisted Ham

Ingredients

• 4 Yukon gold potatoes, cubed
• 1 cup frozen corn
• olive oil
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ½ teaspoon chili powder
• ½ teaspoon dried oregano
• ½ teaspoon dried marjoram
• ¼ teaspoon ground paprika
• ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 pinch ground black pepper
• 2 cups cubed cooked spiral ham

Step 1

Put the potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl and adding enough water to cover them. Toss in the corn as well. Microwave everything on high for about 5 minutes, then give it a good stir. Microwave for another 5 minutes, then drain off the water.

Step 2

Heat some olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the garlic and let it cook for a minute until fragrant. Then, add the potatoes and corn, stirring them around so they get coated in the oil. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, salt, chili powder, oregano, marjoram, paprika, cinnamon, and black pepper. Keep cooking, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender and nicely browned on the outside—this should take around 10 minutes.

Step 3

Finally, stir in the ham, cover the pan, and let everything heat through for about 5 to 10 minutes. Once the ham is warmed and everything is well combined, it's ready to serve.
